Surfboard Illustration - Sketch
I’ve recently ordered myself a new surfboard and thought it may be fun to do something interesting with the design. Having shopped around for the right board, I settled on a ‘Shovelhead' from Stacey Surfboards.
I took a sketch pad down to Bondi Beach on Sunday morning, sat on the grass below the promenade and produced a few sketches until I figured out what I thought would work best. This is the layout for the initial stage of the design which i’ll take into Illustrator to create the final artwork… More to come.

8 bit arcade style UI kit
In an effort to become more inspired i’ve recently set myself several different projects to do in my spare time. One of which is to create a complete UI kit inspired by 8 bit arcade style. The above image is a preview of the set and upon completion it will be available for free download from my dribbble page.

Sub Society finished identity
After some subtle tweaking to curves and weight, & the addition of the minus symbol, the Sub Society identity is complete. Overall i’m really happy with it. I think that it has a clear street art influence but when used flat can still uphold the appearance of a serious brand.

Sub-Society Brand Identity
Tonight I have been working on and identity for an upcoming personal project. The intention was to have a clean, solid look with a clear influence of street art lettering.
Custom type is not something that I do regularly but I had a lot of fun creating this piece. The full identity is ‘Sub-Society’ & i’m looking forward to finishing the rest.
Here is my original sketch:

New Blog

Having had multiple blogs for the past decade, I’ve continually battled with the hassle of updating several networks on several blogging platforms. This has led me here to a single blog where I can share the things i’m working on along with completed projects.
